You will work directly with the Board, reporting in to the CFO, to advise on the strategic aspects of an IPO and ensure they are well positioned to communicate to all investor community stakeholders including analysts, investors, advisors and bankers. A strong background or understanding of capital markets is essential for this role. You will develop and deliver the investment messaging to a pipeline of potential investors ensuring the company is appropriately valued and well understood. You will be responsible for establishing the full IR function including all reporting processes and requirements, and disclosures and you will manage all stock market announcements. This will include a schedule of investor engagement including roadshows and conferences and/or capital markets days. This is a highly strategic role where you will advise the Board on various investment outcomes.
You must have previous Investment Banking experience, M&A or corporate finance, with very strong transaction exposure. Both banking and corporate experience would be ideal, preferably within TMT. This role would suit someone familiar with listing rules and with proven IPO experience. This is a demanding role where you will be working at a fast pace and under pressure with very senior stakeholders. You must have strong influencing and negotiation skills. You must be highly financially literate and knowledge of SEC laws would be beneficial.
