A cost saving SaaS start up / scale up with an excellent reputation overseas are looking for a Senior Sales Manager to join their rapidly expanding team. The company provide a subscription service product to the wholesale food industry allowing them to interact with their customers and provide tangible ROI through a faster supply chain. They currently have no direct competitors in the UK.

Reporting directly to the UK Director and working with guidance from the Head of Commercial, the successful candidate would play a large part in pioneering the UK sales strategy and would have the unique opportunity to share in the success of the companies expansion.

The ideal candidate would have an extensive network of London based food contacts they can tap into. They have experience, or is willing to learn, in a SaaS B2B role within a fast-growing business, they are an expert at building new relationships and can manage and develop a great rapport with key clients. They would be part of forming the values and be a culture builder within the team. The are comfortable working in a small team, eager to help build out a workforce and they are hungry to make the expansion a success.

The right candidate would consider themselves directly responsible for the companies growth, and have the freedom to research and apply new and novel ways of selling their proven software. They would work closely with the Director to create long-lasting sales processes, whilst keeping consistent with global strategies.

The candidate would have experience in upselling through quality relationships. They would have the ability to think long-term, they are hard-working and would thrive under opportunities to roll up their sleeves. The candidate would be comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced and flexible working environment and would fulfill different roles from time to time as is commensurate with the start-up nature the business.

Experience required:

  • Experience at a food producer/supplier/ wholesaler or selling to the businesses involved in the fresh food supply chain
  • Experience selling B2B software
  • Fluent in multiple languages (not essential)
  • Background in technology
  • Experience using Salesforce
